Congratulations to Southwest students and staff! The Kansas Association of Middle School Administrators recently gave our school two awards. One is the GOLD LEVEL recognition for High Performing Schools. That is based on last year's Kansas Assessments.

We were also presented with a banner for being a finalist for Kansas Middle School of the Year. This is a recognition given to only a few schools in Kansas, and it signifies that middle school principals across the entire state recognize Southwest as being a really great school.

Thanks to all of you who have worked hard, been good citizens, and helped make our school special!
